First Foot Forward is the solo venture of Martin Siebert, and an opportunity for him to make wines from some of the most interesting vineyard sites around the Yarra Valley.
With a winemaking degree under his belt and winemaking history with Benjamin Leroux (Burgundy, France), Pegasus Bay (New Zealand), Yarra Yering, Coldstream Hills, Granite Hills and Carlei Estate, Martin now heads up the winemaking at Tokar Estate in the heart of the Yarra Valley.
2013 marks the humble beginning of First Foot Forward, working with The Patch Vineyard in the Dandenong Ranges to produce 160 cases each of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
